All Fun and Games (2023)

Good morning, House of Madness demons:

Everybody likes games, right? Looking back at your childhood, what would it have been like without games? Those dark summer nights playing 'Ghost in the Graveyard' running around squealing with glee as you try to reach home base before being tagged. Sitting around your parents's basement playing 'Simon Says' for hours, trying to trick your best friend into picking their nose without hearing the magic words. How about a simple game of hide-and-seek, only you're on an 11 game winning streak, and there's absolutely no way anyone is going to ever find you in your next hidden crevice cloaked by branches and shrubbery. Even in today's world ruled by technology, nothing tops the physical nature of a good time with friends, leaving video games and party chats aside for a rainy day.

Now, what if you were to take these age-old recreational exercises, and not just add a twist, but a demonic twist? Well, in "All Fun and Games", that's exactly what a group of siblings must endure and conquer. What if instead of just being 'it' in a game of tag, the consequence was something far more sinister and evil? Given the rules ahead of time, and knowing the game not only tests your morals, but your life and soul are actually your guerdon, would you still play? I don't know about you, but if I'm about to partake in a game of tag for keeps, you'd best start running, because being 'it' never sounded so terrifying, and if I'm playing a game of life or death, I'm choosing life.
"All Fun and Games" drops June 2nd, 2023, and you can keep up with future news and developments here
