Creepshow: Season 4 (2023)

Goof afternoon, House of Madness residents:

I've said it before, and I'll say it again - I'm a sucker for anthologies. There's just something about enjoying a story, and secretly knowing there's another one waiting in the shadows. The "Creepshow" franchise has been around for decades, and other than the abhorrent "Creepshow 3" (which we will never discuss again), the films and TV shows have never disappointed, and 'The Creep' is one of the best characters around, that would give 'The Crypt Keeper' the heebie jeebies.

Much like its predecessors, Season 4 doesn't disappoint and has a little something for everyone, no matter what your horror tastes may be. There are stories of monsters, writer's block, vampires, video games, and even George Romero. Whether your style is gore or simply over-the-top frights, "Creepshow: Season 4" has it all, and then some, all while delivering the tales in its own unique way only it can. If you're worried about duds, you won't find any here, as each story has its own charm and delightfulness that passes the stench test most anthologies suffer from.

The next time you have a free afternoon, why not binge every episode of Season 4; it sure beats doing housework or changing over your car's winter tires, and if your better half is screaming in your ear for being lazy, simply turn up the volume and deal with the horror in front of you, rather than the horrors you deal with every day - they'll get over it, or even better, watch it together, "Creepshow" is for everyone!

Madness Meter: 9/10
