Good morning, House of Madness gamers:
Do you get excited when you learn of your favourite video game being adapted to the big screen? I guess it depends. It's hard to trust anything in the Doom franchise with the slop they've churned out thus far, yet Resident Evil had a good run, and many of those flicks were highly watchable. The Silent Hill movies thus far haven't been awful, yet they do leave much to be desired overall in my opinion. Everything Super Mario related seems to make money without even trying; just a couple of your everyday, average plumbers leaving their mark on the world. Learn a trade, folks.
If you're unfamiliar with "Dead by Daylight", it's basically a "Friday the 13th" flick on steroids, where you get to play the villain and hunt down those annoying fornicating teenagers. In the game you can choose to be the hunter or the hunted, which can make for a whle lot of chaotic fun. Who knows just what's in store when this film drops, but if the lights are low and the body count is high, count me in.
"Dead by Daylight" is currently only in pre-production, so we'll have to wait a little longer for it to menace our screens. You can learn more about the film here.
