Eerie Tales to Tell With Graham Annable

Good morning, House of Madness parents:

Do you have children ages 8-12? Are you worried once summer is in full force that they'll be driving you madder than a scientist with an experimentation addiction? If you answered yes to the first question, then I already know the answer to the second, because kids are evil, and they all secretly plot to drive us parents insane. Instead of listening to your child speaking in military terms while he secretly slits throats and guns down enemies in "Call of Duty" or "Fortnite", wouldn't you rather them doing something a little more productive while also getting out of the house? Well, if you're in or around the Ottawa area on July 11th this year, you might want to save that date on your calendar and head to the Ottawa Public Library located at 120 Metcalfe Street from 6:30-7:30pm. During said time, local graphic novel creator Graham Annable will be talking about his adventures through comics and animation, and how horror has always held a special place in his heart. Of course he will also be promoting his new horror graphic novel "Eerie Tales From the School of Screams" which is aimed at middle school readers, but he is an Oscar nominated director who has worked on such mainstream projects as "SpongeBob Squarepants", "Coraline", and "Boxtrolls".

Doesn't all this sound GREAT!? Well, what's even better that I haven't even mentioned yet is that it's all FREE, yes, completely free! For more information, and to book your free tickets, simply head here, and all the info you will need is there. Personally, I can't think of a better way to spend a Tuesday evening, and I'm sure the free hour of sanity for yourself will be a godsend; just remember, you'd better hurry as tickets will go fast at the price of free, and you can't leave your children at the library all summer (I checked). Hope to see you there!
