Good afternoon, House of Madness murderers:

Evil works in mysterious ways, and if you're not well-versed in its methods, you'd best take heed and stick to the path in the light. Hope you enjoy this one, as always!

Inside

Today was a big day for Jay Copley, not just because it was Friday and he had the whole weekend off, but he was in possession of his dad's boat for the night, and his plans were plenty. Just like most boys in their late teens, Jay's planned excitement involved a girl, only this girl could endure no further excitement - she was dead, strangled the night before after a bitter argument about their wants, but tonight would prove to be even more fun than last, as Jay was swelling up below the beltline just imagining putting his disposal plan into action. The most beautiful part of it all was that Anja was a foreign exchange student from Czechia, and had absolutely no ties to anyone here, not even friends. The two had met on a park bench on campus, and some awkward small talk led to the two of them setting up a study date at Jay's house on a Thursday evening. Jay had always wondered what it would feel like to murder someone, but that wasn't his initial plan when all of this came about - quite the opposite actually - but when the time came for Jay to make his move, Anja wasn't interested, and that was a big problem for Jay. As he was squeezing the breath out of her, he whispered "You should have just let me inside you" and he clamped down even tighter, until her body was no more than just an empty vessel, void of everything but the space it occupied.

Now that he had finally experienced it for himself, Jay radiated over the exhilaration he felt from his horrible deed, and couldn't help but giggle to himself at the mere thought of tonight's festivities with her corpse. He already had most of the supplies he'd need for the sadistic ritual he had planned, but he stopped at Lowe's earlier in the day for some duct tape and rope in case he decided to get really frisky with his decomposing prey. Just because the thought of playing with dead things made Jay excited, didn't necessarily make him a bad person in his eyes, it just meant he was a little different, and different is a long way from being evil, right? "Right" Jay said, startling himself in the afternoon silence. Tonight was going to be epic indeed, and before Jay trailed off to sleep on his couch, he fantasized one last time about the night's upcoming festivities, and couldn't control his excitement.

When Jay awoke, he was so giddy that he wrote down the list of things he intended on bringing along, just so he wouldn't forget anything and devoid himself from any fun. "Cinder blocks, check. Tarp, check. Rope, check. Sharpened machete for dismemberment, *giggle* check. Dead Anja, double check." Jay chuckled as he threw everything in a large duffel bag; well, everything except Anja, she had her own personal trunk for transport, and Jay thought that was pretty swell. As Jay finished loading everything into the back of his dad's Cherokee, he did one final sweep of the living room just to make sure he didn't miss anything; last thing Jay wanted was for his dad to come home early from his hunting trip, and find some dead bitch's sock on the coffee table or something. That might be awkward. After a quick pass over 'the crime scene' as Jay liked to jokingly call it to himself, he grabbed the keys and headed out to the pier where his dad's pride and joy was docked with care. If Jay's dad knew he was taking the boat, there might just be two bodies going into Prater Lake that evening, but what he didn't know wouldn't hurt him, and Jay wasn't about to back down now - it's 2023, and disposing of a body is a bitch nowadays if you're not smart about it.

As Jay finished lugging everything (and everyone) aboard the 20x30 vessel his dad called 'The Surely Temple', a chill came over him that he'd never experienced before. "Don't be a fuckin pussy" he said to himself as he untied the rope and lifted the anchor. "I hope you don't get seasick, Anja!" Jay joked as they slowly puttered towards the middle of the lake. Once Jay was far enough out and confident there were no watchful eyes, the excitement once again consumed his soul, and he was literally bouncing like an overstimulated grandchild with a chocolate bar as he went over what he wanted to do first in his head. He heard a rustling coming from somewhere behind him, but shrugged it off as nothing, considering the closest thing to being a threat was currently a small-mouthed bass. As jay unrolled the tarp, he placed everything at arm's length, almost like a surgeon preparing to remove someone's spleen, and then heartily yelled "scalpel!" in his best German accent, as he laughed giddily to himself once more. The proverbial table was set, and all there was left to do was to fetch the main attraction, and let the festivities begin. Jay walked over to the trunk containing the remains of last night's heinousness, and as he lifted the lid, he was horrified to be greeted with nothing but darkness. Jay's first instinct was to panic, assuming he somehow left Anja's corpse in the bed of his truck, but as the puzzlement consumed his face, so did the hands of Anja, who gripped his skull with the strength and ferocity of an eagle's talons, and just before Jay's skull popped like a grape, he heard her whisper "You shouldn't have let me inside you".
