Thank YOU!

Good morning, House of Madness supporters:

Today's musing is a very special one for me, as this is our 100th post in the House of Madness. When I began writing again a few months ago, I never would have dreamed that it could be this fun, rewarding, and therapeutic, but it's been all of these things and so much more. There were and still are plenty of days where my mental struggle is very real, but being able to express my feelings and release my mental reverie on here has been a colossal success for my well being, so I appreciate each and every one of you that stops by to read my nonsense whether it be every day, or just when you have the time. Thank you! 

I figured instead of doing a write-up on the questionable film I watched last night, I would simply spend my time expressing my gratitude and explaining why this site is so important to me. I originally wrote for the now extinct web page "The Bloody News" some 18+ years ago, and although I enjoyed my time writing there very much, life got in the way. A paying job, beautiful wife, and two amazing children took over as my new passion, and my silly horror writings were left on the backburner where I expected them to rest until they were an unrecognizable charred mess, when in reality the fire always burned, but I needed someone to help me find the flames through the darkness - thanks JJ. I've always had a hard time believing in myself, even though I preach the opposite, but if I've learned anything in the last three months, it's that sometimes you need to do things for YOU, and take a leap of faith deep into the darkest parts of yourself, and bring everything back into the light. 

I'm certainly not overstating what a website full of swearing, fart jokes, and questionable opinions means to the masses, but it sure means a whole lot to me. So, other than the aforementioned legend known as JJ who kickstarted all of this, and has always been my biggest supporter since we were little kids, I'd really just like all of you to know how much I appreciate you; every day I write for myself, but it also gives me great pleasure and deep gratitude hearing I made you laugh, gave a good recommendation, or simply helped pass the time in a few moments of need. JJ, CM, ML, MM, HH, LB I love you all and would not be here if it weren't for each and every one of you in one regard or another, but if you fake laugh at all my jokes, better sleep with one eye open; you see the movies I tirelessly watch, and not only am I well versed in proper body disposal etiquette, I'm also good with a chainsaw. 

I'll be back tomorrow with WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY less cheese, and a smidgen more entertainment.
