Good morning, House of Madness family:
Happy birthday to the House of Madness! While we rarely celebrate the good things in life, and much prefer to focus on what goes on in the dungeons of Hell, we feel it's important to celebrate this day, and focus on more years to come.
I started the HoM with the need of an outlet for my mind, as I struggle with my mental health terribly. Some days are better than others, but no matter how hard the struggle, writing makes me feel a whole lot better, and can make a horrible day feel like a conquered one. From the absolute bottom of my heart, I appreciate and thank every single one of you that supported and continues to support me along the way; I may write for myself, but I'd feel like a failure if nobody ever stopped in to read my silly stories and half-assed reviews. Thank YOU! I'd especially like to thank JJ who really did get all of this started; I've known this man for over forty years, and he's never left my side - he's the true definition of a friend. I'd also like to thank CM, who also has been nothing short of a pillar of support, even when the stories didn't warrant the praise, he always encouraged me to keep going on my mission to deliver you the ghoulish goods.
It's been a great year, and here's to the next however many are to come in the House of Madness! Again, thank you all so much for reading, it really does mean the world to me, and hopefully you'll keep coming back for more!
