Winnie the Pooh: Blood & Honey 2 (2024)

Good morning, House of Madness residents:

Do you eat at Arby's? Have you ever just dropped trou and willingly slammed your privates in a car door for no reason other than pure fascination? When someone tells you to be careful because the stove element is hot, do you proceed to keep touching it until all of your fingertips have been obliterated, and the aroma of burning flesh consumes every square inch of your nostrils? If you answered yes to any or all of these, then you'll most surely be excited about the latest pile of piss headed our way!

What exactly warrants a sequel and gives movie studios the motivation to green-light new projects from past storylines? I'd normally go out on a limb and take a wild guess that it has a lot to do with the quality and success of the sequel's predecessor, but in this case I'm completely baffled. The original film was so vile and embarrassingly awful that the mere hint of a sequel would be the perfect template for an April Fool's gag, yet here we are, and April is a long way's away. As if all this wasn't bad enough, they're keeping the plot 'under wraps' so as not to spoil the surprise; I wouldn't be shocked if the filmmakers have a pet skunk, and then are mortified when people come over to their house and immediately question whether or not a skunk resides there.

"Winnie the Pooh: Blood & Honey 2" drops some time in 2024, so perhaps we could all set aside a chilly, cloudy day when it's available on our favourite streaming service, and enjoy ourselves while we warm our hands beside a nice dumpster fire in a stench filled cesspool in order to capture the film's true essence. See you there!
