Good evening, House of Madness spirits:
As I was scouring through the boxes in the attic of madness this morning, I stumbled across some old DVD's in a box labeled 'femurs'. As delighted as I was to discover this treasure trove of forgotten cinema, I couldn't help but wonder where our undead butler stashed the actual bone relics I set aside for an emergency. It's so hard to find good help these days. Alas, those old bones were probably considered 'evidence' anyways, so here's hoping I didn't donate them to The Salvation Army by accident when I dropped off those terrifying Care Bears LaserDiscs. Listen to me, I'm so excited to tell you this news, that I'm rambling on like Kevin Spacey at the end of "Se7en". Ok, ok, I'm getting to the point. Do you know what the movie "Bats" (1999), and a Furby have in common? They're both from the same decade I've last seen Lou Diamond Phillips do anything relevant.
This brings me to "Year 2", where LDP (from here on out, him and I are on a 3 initial basis) plays a scientist trying to stop a mutation that is turning people into werewolves after being exposed to a super-moon the year before. Did I forget to mention it also stars Frank Grillo!? I'd better get a crewcut, and douse myself in Drakkar Noir if I expect my wife to pay any attention to me after this studfest. I have a really good friend that is probably legitimately excited for this, as he always has time for werewolves, much like LDP always has time for La Bamba.
"Year 2" is in post production, and looks to be slated for release some time in 2023; let's hope the script is riveting, the moon is full, and the scares are plentiful, or it could be another 25 years before we see LDP again, and I'm not sure he has that much time or I have that much patience.

It’s more of a possibility than you think, as they’re both in “Young Guns 3” coming out in 2023……this is really true, as we don’t joke about Emilio Estevez in the House of Madness.
Standing in line for tickets already. Werewolves rule (AND are real)! I look forward to it…hopefully Emilio Estevez makes a guest appearance.
